Raised as an only child, Camille never found anyone to talk to. All the kids in her neighborhood were a lot older and tougher and meaner, so she was afraid to make conversation. However, not talking meant that she could listen, and she can prove to be a reliable friend. It also meant that she could take in everything around her, watching what people do and how they react. However, taking notice to every action has gotten Camille paranoid, worrying about what everyone does. She doesn’t like it when people lie, so she herself is a very straightforward person and doesn’t tell lies. But this turns out to be bad sometimes, as she can be harsh and extremely critical. Also, everything she touches somehow magically becomes a messy fuck.

Although it may seem like it, Camille is not a foreigner to the country of Japan. Born in the country to a French-Japanese father and a Japanese mother, and raised in a small suburban neighborhood, Camille was never really happy as a child. She takes after her paternal grandfather, the French man, and the neighborhood kids would make fun of her for her different appearance, lowering her self-esteem . In order to cope with the bullying and also to follow her father’s footsteps of a painter, Camille took up the traditional media as a hobby. However, she soon found out that she didn’t inherit her father’s talent and found every single one of her pieces to be horrible. And she thought that, if she found them horrible, others would too. Therefore, her self-esteem lowered even more, and grew silent. She rarely spoke to others throughout the rest of her middle school years and was known as the loner. Shortly after she graduated, the Bellamy family moved to a new house in a new neighborhood. At the age of sixteen, Camille would be entering high school at Hoshizora High, hoping to meet new people, make some friends, and get a fresh new beginning.
